Prophylactic considerations. Following the above, it is obvious that varicose disease is very difficult to avoid. I am referring to the fact that you cannot make recommendations, which by their nature limit people's lives and may cause anxiety to certain professions, or physiological states (pregnancy fear lest I do varices) and advices are only general. On the other hand, recommendations vary depending on the stages of the disease. When the disease has not appeared and we face only a predisposition, the recommendations are others lest disease already exists, the recommendations differ. Recommendations like: see a Phlebologie specialist monthly, wear elastic stockings, take detralex etc. are usually commercial and often the context in which they occur and the schedule presentation translate the lack of specialization and professionalism in the field.
Therapeutic considerations Derived from understanding the disease previously exposed very briefly and with intent to talk down to people who have a medical condition.
The disease has a mechanical mechanism of production. At some point in life, one of the safena valves (small or large) or performances, requested more than it can withstand (there are also other mechanisms and theories in the etiopatogenia of varicose disease, which were not exposed due to teaching reasons and not to create confusion and load the mind of the reader with data that is purely medical and that does not change the situation and understanding of the disease) and through these damaged valves blood escapes back and swells the superficial veins and gives the patient the symptoms and signs for which the patient goes to the doctor. Once varicose disease appeared, it does not give back and every time the patient stands, the varicose veins swell with blood that is not stopped by the valves. The natural tendency is for growth of varices and progression of disease at a rate that varies from one patient to another.
The treatment can go on 3 directions:
1. Without treatment: the patient supports the natural evolution of the disease, the symptoms and possible complications;
2. Conservative treatment: can slow down the progression, reduces symptoms and frequency of complications;
3. Curator: is the surgical treatment, correct and complete, performed by a specialist. A complete treatment and cures the disease correctly, makes to "disappear" completely or as completely as possible the dilated varicose veins and prevents relapse. The surgery treatment completely and correctly leads to healing complications.
